If you need fresh and delicious produce, healthy plants, or eye-catchy flowers, Moors End Farm has got you.
The Slosek family has owned and operated this garden since the mid-1970s. It began as a simple idea to make an extra profit from vegetables and has since grown to a point where most Nantucket families use its products.
There is honey from the farm’s bees and eggs from the barnyard flock. Berries, tomatoes, corn, and vegetables like peppers, beans, and squash are all produced on these 20 acres of agricultural land.
The Asparagus is on its course to thriving (end of May); go and have your pick! Also, they have a substantial raspberry patch, corn, and lettuce. It’s pretty challenging to decide which floral bouquets to buy because they’re all stunning!
Moors End Farm operates a Community-Supported Agriculture program in which members receive a weekly package of farm products.
During the summer, when many people visit the island, grocery stores are jam-packed, making it difficult to get around. Instead, come here to get a colorful and local selection of veggies for your cooking or salads.
The farm’s prices are economical, and the assemblage is outstanding for just a roadside farm business. Furthermore, you can purchase your next Christmas tree here!
